Textured look you never expected is possible
Here at Rainbow Leather, we pride ourselves in creating unique, one of a kind custom designs, and we have many ways of doing it. One of these ways is to create texture on leather by cutting and perforating it.
The technology for making these scales is still very new, and not too long ago was only available in Europe. Rainbow thought out to bring the technology to the US, and now we are the only local company that is offering this latest industry development at a very reasonable price, with a short lead time of 5-7 business days.
The cuttings we make vary from snake scales imitation of different sizes, to zigzag, stripe and fish scale patterns. The depth of the cut can be adjusted, and normally the blade wouldn’t go all the way through the leather, so you still get a solid hide with an added benefit of awesome texture that looks like nothing anyone has ever seen before. Cuts work best on cow leather. The other design feature we offer is custom perforation. We have quite a few pre-set designs to choose from, and you are always welcome to come up with your own – every dot is completely customizable. Keep in mind that even though we do work with leather the most, perforation is also available on cork and vinyl.
