A lifelong artist and designer, Valerie Lynn’s passion involves bringing art to life through people’s homes, workplaces, and wardrobes. With her work that includes hand painted interior furnishings, stage, party and set designs, murals, objects d’art, tableware, tiles and fabrics, the range of surfaces Valerie can work with besides the traditional canvas, paper, cotton or linen, includes lucite, wood, straw, silks, mirror, sailcloth, suede, and, of course, leather. For more than 30 years, Rainbow Leather has specialized in creating custom high-quality leather, cork and fabric designs for the fashion and interior design industries. The family owned business manages the process from start to finish, from the initial consultation at the Rainbow showroom in the Garment District through customizing the projects to fit customers needs with samples, to digital printing, embossing, foiling, cutting, monogramming and the final delivery of the completed skins at their facility in College Point, Queens.
